This is the Magnus Olesen Model 8000 dining chair designed by Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sørensen and produced in Denmark. The 8000 series is one of Magnus Olesen's design icons. It was first produced in 1981 and recently returned to their catalog, but not in this design. With these chairs the legs of the chairs are turned 45 degrees so there is a front lag and a back leg. The backrest in therefor resting on the legs instead of two. The furnitures is based on an unique production technology without the use of screws or dowels, which makes these chairs incredible strong and very flexible despite its low weight. It's made from bent beech wood with a cobalt blue upholstered seat. The chairs are also stackable, which looks great. The condition of the chairs are good considering it's age and we have 4 in stock.
