Rey dining chair designed by Bruno Rey for Dietiker in the 1970s. This chair is produced by Kusch+Co in Germany. Bruno Rey, born 1935, opened his own design atelier in 1968. Here he designed a new kind of wooden chair which went into production with Dietiker in 1971. Later known as the "Rey Chair" it became the most successful Swiss chair of all time.
The chair is made from solid Beech wood with some Beech laminated parts. The legs are attached with cast aluminium brackets, which makes these chairs very strong. The chair is in natural beech with aluminium coloured brackets is this model is with armrests. It's in excellent condition with only minor signs of use. The seat was upholstered, so we removed it and refinished it.
