Braun Hifi Set CSV-250, CE-250, PS-420 & L410 by Dieter Rams

Braun HiFi designed by Dieter Rams. Anyone who loves design should know the famous Dieter Rams. He made a huge impact in modern day design in many different areas. He is best known for his close association with Braun and Vitsœ.

This set features the CSV-250 amplifier, CE-250 tuner and PS-420 turntable with a set of L410 speakers. It's in great condition and have all been checked by a technician.

Technical specs of the CSV-250 are: fully transistorised HiFi stereo amplifier with 2x65 Watts of power (2x40 watts sine wave). Toggle switches for band control, rumble filter, noise filter, linear volume control, presence attenuated, mono and stereo operation, side swapping. Separate balance, bass and treble dividers. Mode switching by push buttons. Frequency response 10...35000 Hz, distortion factor <0.4%, crosstalk attenuation >47dB, impedance >70 dB. Ironless power amplifiers with electronic fuse. Connections: Radio, phono, tape, microphone, reserve, speaker, headphones. Housing: sheet steel with anthracite grey ruffle varnish. Front panel made of aluminum.

The CE-250 tuner was manufactured between 1967 and 1969. It features Superheterodyne (common) ZF/IF 10700 kHz. FM broadcast band with 16 FM circuits.

The PS-420 record player was manufactured between 1969 and 1973. The Turntable has an anti-skating device and M 75-6 II high trackability cartridge. Speeds: 16, 33, 45 and 78 rpm. Tonearm suitable for all cartridge systems with 1/2" mount. Tonearm bearings in precision ball bearings. Anti-skating device. Semi-automatic lowering device with hydraulically damped tonearm rest. Automatic limit switch. Spring-loaded intermediate chassis.

The L410 bookshelf speakers are from 1969 and finished in white lacquer. It features a dome tweeter & bass/midrange speaker each, rated load 25 Watts, impedance 4 Ohms, frequency response: 35...25000 Hz.

The price is for the set and we only sell it as a set. It also comes with an aux cable so you can either connect an external device or bluetooth receiver to easily stream your music through your phone.
