Linea Zero Toucan Desk Lamp by Enea Ferrari (Green)

First designed in the 1970s by Enea Ferrari in Verona, Italy, the Toucan lamp is a perfect nod to his playful yet precise approach to design. Enea always crafted all his designs by hand before they went into production. The Toucan lamp is made from Moplen polypropylene in various bright colours. Firstly intended specially for children and later loved among design enthousiasts of Space Age design. The re-edition by Linea Zero is exactly the same as the one made back in the 70s with some modern-day upgrades. It now features an integrated LED lamp so the beak of the Toucan won’t melt any longer which you often see with vintage editions due to a too strong bulb. It has a USB-C input of power supply and touch ON/OFF button with integrated dimmer. Linea Zero has chosen to not include a power adapter and cable with the lamp as by now it’s expected that most people have a USB-C cable at home already which you can use for the lamp, but it’s also optional to add a cord and wall brick if you want. The USB-C doesn’t necessarily need to be powered by a brick though, you could also power it by your laptop or even your smartphone. It’s also possible to connect it to a power bank to use it anywhere you want.
