Cassina Tabouret Berger Stool by Charlotte Perriand (Black)

Tabouret Berger stool designed by Charlotte Perriand for Cassina in 1953. This stool is inspired by a milking stool. These stools stand out for the honesty of their simple shape and concrete expression of their materials and function. The turned seat meets the stylised handturned solid oak wooden legs. Produced by Cassina thanks to a meticulous work of craftsmanship that respects the authenticity of the original design. This stool looks good on its own, but even better paired with the Tabouret Méribel stool. The use of solid wood communicates a pleasant sense of softness, and the continuity of the grain can be seen right across the seat to the borders, nature creating a unique pattern on each stool. This stool is in amazing condition and almost looks as good as new.
